1. Services Provided
Oakstone Assist provides remote technical support and assistance. Our services include a free initial diagnosis. Any subsequent repair or assistance is optional and subject to the fees outlined in our pricing section or quoted during the diagnosis.
2. Remote Access
To provide our services, we use remote desktop software. By requesting our service, you grant us permission to access your computer or device. You are responsible for remaining at your computer during the session and monitoring the technician's actions.
3. Fees and Payment
Diagnosis is free. If you choose to proceed with a paid fix or plan, you agree to pay the specified fees. All payments are processed through secure third-party providers. We do not store your full credit card information.
4. No Fix, No Fee Guarantee
If we are unable to resolve the specific technical issue identified during our diagnosis, you will not be charged for that service. This guarantee does not apply to issues caused by hardware failure that requires physical replacement.
5. Limitation of Liability
Oakstone Technology LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of data or hardware failure. We recommend that you back up your data before any technical service.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
